Cayuga Community College Men's Basketball made it two straight wins with a road victory over Corning Community College on Wednesday.
Cayuga's defense dominated the contest, holding Corning to just 24 second-half points in a 67-54 win. The Spartans are now 6-17 on the season.
Both defenses controlled the first half, with the Red Barons carrying a 30-27 advantage into halftime. Cayuga's offense came alive in the second half with 40 points, though, while their defense continued to lock down the Red Barons' attack.
Josiah Murphy led Cayuga with 22 points and added seven rebounds, and Yaqub Drammeh had 19 points and 10 rebounds. Omar Musa had 10 points and six rebounds, and Kirk McFarlane had eight rebounds. Jai Clayton added nine points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Cayuga closes the regular season on the road Saturday at Tompkins Cortland CC.
