Cayuga Cruises Past Word of Life

The Spartans used a balanced attack Tuesday night, with all players scoring who dressed for the game to get a 100-50 victory over Word of Life.  Nate Shaw (Syracuse, NY) led Cayuga with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block,  Jared Donalson (Syracuse NY) added 14 points pulled down a team high 15 rebounds, 3 steals, and had 2 blocks.  Eddie Byrd (Liberty, NY) posted his career high as a Spartan with 14 points, while Justin Staton (Freeport, NY) chipped in with 10 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and had 4 blocks.  Delquan Holmes (Syracuse, NY) dished out a team high 9 assists, while Dwayne Irving, (Queens, NY) added 8 points, along with 7 assists.  Cayuga travels to Schenectady Community College on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tip-off, and will return home on Sunday to host North Country Community College at 4 p.m.
